When we come out of college, we are holding a degree or some qualification and based on the degree or the qualification we are hired by various organisations. Leaving few specific examples aside, we hardly use any of these learnings from our colleges while defining and developing our careers in our respective fields. This book consolidates almost all the learnings I had while working for 26+ years being part of various teams and while leading very high-performance teams. It was a great privilege to work with great leaders, colleagues and team members through these years. Everything what is expressed in the book is a reflection of one or the other instances, I have got to experience through these years. The book provides a step by step approach on setting up great teams and also enables the leaders to produce unprecedented outcomes from their teams. Setting up extraordinary teams is more of an art than science and can be learned while keeping the whole learning as simple as possible and doing some of the basics right, which we are going to speak about in this book. About The Author

Amarpreet Singh is an operational professional, having 26+ years of experience working in Electronics manufacturing Industry. Amarpreet started his career with Deltron Limited, Chandigarh in 1994 and rose through the ranks while working with Flextronics International (Based out Malaysia and China), Centum electronics Bangalore and is now heading Delivery Operations for Ideaforge Technology Pvt. Ltd. based out of Mumbai. Amarpreet is well known as people’s manager and is always very passionate about inspiring next generations of leaders and shaping his team for taking bigger roles in their careers.In addition to this, Amarpreet also enjoys setting up world-class high-performance teams, business processes and achieving highly unreasonable outcomes while keeping respect and trust for the team as a base of performance. The purpose of writing this book is a first step in bringing down all the learnings at a place so that these can be referred as operational “Standard Operating Procedures”, while setting up great teams at work.
