ABOUT THE BOOK

NCERT Simplified Class-6 Science, is designed as a handbook and also as a revision book which helps students provide chapter wise notes written completely in points for easy reading, understanding and presentation of the concept. Each chapter consists of notes, keyword definitions and exercise answers. Every chapter is included with key word definitions and answers to the exercise questions at the end. In some places hints were provided for enhancing the thinking of the student and writing answers in his/her own words. Several flow charts and mind maps were used for representing the concept in an easy way. Multiple numbers of ‘Did you know?’ were added to make the reader interested. At the end of the book, ‘Collective Glossary’ was added for quick reference of meanings of the keywords. Systematic division and subdivision of the concepts, helps in easy outlining of the chapter.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ramesh Babu L is a postgraduate student of master of science in biotechnology and completed his graduation in biotechnology in A class with distinction. He is a well appreciated and rewarded science tutor for secondary, secondary high and senior secondary high school students. He is an enthusiastic science student and a social critic, who always tries his best in bringing required changes in the current system and management. He is a reader of personality development, science, spirituality and society books and articles. He started teaching as early as 19 years old. He is an active participant and host of educational events like National Science Day, National Mathematics Day and other awareness programmers. He is the most loved tutor of his tutees and mentees. The author is always fascinated about the working of living systems, intelligence of organisms, evolution of life forms, bridging faith with science and consciousness of human beings in the spiritual era. Apart from this, he studies comparative religions and the role of science in society and its upliftment.
